Proposal Submission for 2008 FDIP Grants Program
The call for FY 2008 proposals begins immediately, with a submission deadline of March 31, 2008. Announcements of the committee award decisions will be made towards the end of May, 2008, with transfer of money made to appropriate department accounts by end of May, 2008.
Each FDIP proposal will be reviewed by a committee of faculty peers, chaired by a UH Faculty member. The committee will review the proposal for:
- Value of the project to the UH academic community. Will the proposed project be a model that can be used to improve curriculum in other courses/disciplines?
- The feasibility of the project in relation to the award time frame.
- The plan and procedure for evaluating the outcomes of the project.
- The budget justification submitted with the proposal.
- The clarity and completeness of the submitted proposal.
- Collegial and departmental support of the project as identified by a letter(s) of support from the Dean of the College or Chair of the Department.
- Innovative use of technology.
