Eligibility
Eligibility for 2008 FDIP Grants Program
Only full time tenured, tenure-track, or clinical faculty may serve as Principal Investigator for any FDIP grant. Clinical faculty members must have worked at the university for at least two full years to be eligible for funding as a Principal Investigator.
Activities from the awards should be recognized as a normal part of a faculty member’s academic work, as a means of enhancing instructional and general academic effectiveness. Awards from the FDIP program should be used as a way to strengthen the instructional programs in the department, college and University community.
Faculty who received funds from a FDIP are not eligible for funds in the same category in consecutive years. For example: if someone received a FDIP A grant in 2007, the person would not be eligible for another FDIP A grant in 2008. The faculty member could, however, apply for a FDIP B grant in 2008.
The Principal Investigator is ultimately responsible for all summaries and submissions.
