Budget Considerations
Budget Considerations for the 2008 Grants Program
The accepted budget will be given to the Department Business Administrator who will help the award recipient use funds effectively and according to the accepted proposal.
The recipient will be responsible for obtaining written approval of any changes to the budget which occur during the award time frame. A budget change request must be made to the FDIP Coordinator (thoskings@uh.edu).
Assistance from the Desktop Support group is available to help with budget planning for any requried hardware/software.Consultation can be done either before submission, or after acceptance. If it is done after acceptance of a proposal for award, adjustments can be made to the amount specified for the technology purchases.
Department/College Technology representatives are welcomed to be a part of the evaluation with Desktop Support. Purchase of hardware not requested in the original budget should be considered a modification of budget request and submitted to the FDIP award coordinator (thoskings@uh.edu).
