Educational Technology and University Outreach
Educational Technology and University Outreach (E.T.U.O.) is responsible for Distance Education, Continuing Education, Faculty Development and Instructional Support, among other things.
E.T.U.O. works with academic colleges, faculty and other administrative units to coordinate course and program delivery, student support services, and to provide faculty development opportunities. We also work with colleges and develop and implement Extension programs for domestic and international delivery.
E.T.U.O. also serves as a liaison with the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and the Southern Regional Electronic Board on matters related to accurate reporting and maintenance of quality standards.

UH Distance Education encompasses courses delivered off-campus by face-to-face instruction and all courses delivered by electronic means.

Weekend U
Weekend U is the answer to UH students' growing concern about core curriculum classes filling up quickly. Designed to provide students with an alternative when scheduling courses, Weekend U also offers smaller classes, a tuition discount, no-hassle parking and the opportunity to accelerate your degree.
